ParentSquare Tip: Filtering by Class, Group, or Student
Are you looking for an easy way to filter the posts you see in ParentSquare? Filters can help simplify your ParentSquare feed.

On the mobile app, tap the name in the center of the top bar and choose a different school.
To filter by class or group:

On the mobile app, from the top, left hamburger menu, choose “Groups” and then the group you want to filter.
To filter by student:
On desktop, select the student from the top of the left menu.
On mobile, from the top, left hamburger menu, choose your Student.
To search a specific post:

Problem Solving: Homework Success
Homework is an integral part of your child's academic development, and your support at home makes a significant difference. We encourage you to help your student create problem-solving habits by setting up a productive homework routine, promoting independence, and addressing common challenges like procrastination. As educators, we will be problem-solvers by communicating with parents regarding student progress and any issues in the classroom.
Your partnership in addressing academic challenges is vital. Together, through open communication and a shared commitment to finding solutions, we can empower your child to achieve their educational goals and build essential learning habits.
Here are some additional digital resources that were recently presented at campus family nights to help you tackle problem-solving at home.

Planning for College - Free Resources
Life School is dedicated to preparing students for life beyond graduation—whether that means college, a career, or military service. This month, we are highlighting valuable resources to support college-bound students:
Free Tuition Institutions: Several two- and four-year colleges in Texas offer programs allowing students from low- and middle-income families to pursue higher education without tuition fees, providing quality education without financial burdens. Click here for more information.
HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities): Founded before 1964 to serve Black students, HBCUs often offer lower tuition rates than non-HBCU institutions. Click here for a list of nationally accredited HBCUs.
- BigFuture: BigFuture is a free online planning tool that helps students explore careers, find colleges that fit their goals, and discover options for financing college. It’s an excellent resource for anyone planning their next steps after high school.
