St. John's Spring Social & Auction: THANK YOU!

On behalf of our entire school and leadership team, thank you for your generous support of the 2025 Spring Auction and Social. Saturday night was truly special—filled with joy, connection, and a beautiful sense of community.

Thanks to your generosity, we’re thrilled to share that we’ve already reached our fundraising goal of $85,000, after accounting for all associated costs. What an incredible milestone!

We’re now excited to begin revitalizing our school gym—an important project that will benefit our students and community for years to come. While we’ve met our goal, ideal renovation costs exceed this figure, so additional gifts will still make a meaningful impact.

A few auction items and experiences remain, including:

  • Grade Level Donation Ice Cream Contest

  • Second Row Seats to the K-8 Christmas Program

  • ELC Parents' Night Out

  • Tape Dr. Barnard to the Wall

  • Various Teacher Experiences

The auction and donation portal will remain open until Friday, April 25th at 7:00 p.m. We welcome continued support in any form.

Thank you again for your incredible generosity and love for St. John’s!

Spring Musical Shout Outs

We are currently collecting 'Shout Outs' for students in our Spring Musical!

A Shout Out is a brief message of encouragement, support, and love from families, which will be printed in the program, creating a lasting keepsake and souvenir for your young actor. Additionally, this offers a wonderful opportunity for out-of-town relatives to express their support if they are unable to attend in person.

Each Shout Out is priced at $15, and all proceeds will go towards supporting St. John's drama programs. Click here for purchase.

Chapel Offering Focus: April & May

Thank you for your generosity!

Thanks to your incredible support, we donated 178 pounds of food—valued at $330—to the Community Ministry Food Pantry. Your kindness makes a real difference in the lives of our neighbors.

As we wrap up the school year, our final chapel offering is a new toy drive benefiting The Gift of Love INC in Grand Junction. These toys will be personally delivered by our seventh graders during their service trip in May.

We invite you to donate new toys now through May 9. Collection bins are located in the entryways of both the school and church.

Our goal is 200 toys—let’s make it happen!

Thank you for helping us spread love and joy to children in need.

Student Dress Code and warmer weather

As we move into spring and the warmer weather (yay!), we want to take a moment to remind families about our dress code. Many of the items that fit well last summer may no longer meet the guidelines, as growing young people often outgrow their clothing more quickly than expected.

Spring Break is a great time to check wardrobes and make sure that shorts, skirts, and other warm-weather attire still align with our dress code. If needed, this is also a good opportunity to pick up a few new items to ensure students are dressed appropriately for school. Thank you for your attention to this as we head into the new season!

Socks for Men: Confirmation Project

Confirmation is a special time for baptized students to deepen their faith and publicly affirm their beliefs. It marks the beginning of a lifelong walk with Christ. As part of this journey, each confirmand completes an Affirmation of Faith project to serve Jesus using their unique gifts.

Our 8th grade student, Noah Z., will be collecting men’s socks for his project. A donation bin is located in the School Hallway through April 25th if you’d like to contribute.
