Congratulations Veronica Santillo
Veronica Santillo Wins Springdale Spotlight!
Springdale Public Schools is excited to announce that Veronica Santillo, a counselor at Westwood Elementary, is this month's winner of the Springdale Spotlight contest. Veronica won with her heartfelt post celebrating student leadership and teamwork at the "Howling with Pride Assembly."
Her winning entry, which used the hashtag #SpringdaleFamily, showcased the collaborative spirit at Westwood Elementary. The post highlighted how the school's "Alpha Team" helped kindergarteners learn assembly expectations and how students who demonstrated the school's "PACK promises" were recognized. The school's Safety Patrol was also a key part of the celebration, proudly handing out awards.
"We are so proud of our students for leading, learning and lifting each other up," Veronica wrote in her post.
For her winning submission, Veronica received a prize pack that includes a Springdale Spotlight mug, a T-shirt and stickers. The grand prize is four tickets to the Walton Arts Center to see the Reduced Shakespeare Company: All the Great Books (Abridged) comedy on Oct. 7.
