Hereford BULLetin

This was an awesome first week of school! Thanks to the teachers, students, staff, and parents who all chipped in to make it a success. Below you will find just a few pictures from this past week.

Each year, our school has continued to grow and improve, and we are looking to do the same again this year. I ask that each parent/guardian stays engaged this year, and that you continue to partner with us to help push your student to reach their potential. Our students are successful because of the collaboration between students, teachers, and parents. Thank you in advance for helping us make the rest of the school year a fantastic one!

During Back to School Night, we talked about the new I Love U Guys Standard Response Protocol that is not being implemented across BCPS. Throughout the year, we will continue to train our students and staff. A big shout out goes to Ms. Wisnom, Ms. Bailey, and the Class of 2029! We had an awesome Early Entry Day where over 220 students got a sneak peak at high school before the first day of school. Our 9th grade students got to tour the building, learned about clubs/organizations, heard from an awesome student panel, and more. Below are pictures from the event.

Over the summer HHS, the Hereford Sports Boosters, and BCPS Facilities collaborated to complete a slew of upgrades to our stadium facility. Additionally, you will notice new stairs that connect our main campus to the stadium parking lot. Pictures of some of the improvements are below, but we hope that you will come out to one of our athletic contests this Fall to see it for yourself.

I would like to thank the Hereford Sports Boosters, BCPS Facilities, Freeland Electric, Herb Shaefer's Quality Asphalt and Paving, Premier Outdoor, Winkler Fencing, JMT, and Warwick Contracting for their support of this project and our school community!

Hereford High has some of the best student support personnel in the state, and they call themselves the Bullpen. Below is picture of our wonderful team, and descriptions of their roles.
