Happy Sunday Cavalier Families!

Sorry for the late newsletter today. I was without internet for half of the day due to the storms. I hope that you didn't experience too much disruption to your day!

We will have MAP testing all week. We are on an alternate schedule so students will test each morning.

A few reminders for our families:

• If you visit our campus, you need to check in at the front office immediately upon arrival.
• While on campus, you should refrain from interacting with any child other than your own. If you are not listed on their demographic information, you do not have their parent or guardian's permission to communicate with them at our school.
• During events (Athletics, Fine Arts, Community Outreach, etc.), you are here to encourage and support your own student. It is inappropriate to speak negatively to or about other people (including the competition).

We are working to help our students understand policies, procedures, and the power of words. They will look to you as one of their role models and we appreciate your help with this.

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

Thank you to those who have already completed their registration. We are still currently at 92%! Student registration has been extended until April 30th. ALL KISD students must have a registration completed if they will be attending school in KISD next year (it doesn't matter what campus your student will be at for 24-25). You can find detailed information at https://www.killeenisd.org/enroll. Please get this done as soon as possible so that we can properly plan for your student for next year.

Current Student Registration closes April 30, 2024.

IMPORTANT TRANSFER INFORMATION:

If your student is at CPMS on a transfer and would like to remain on our campus, please complete the transfer request form. If your student is currently a 6th or 7th grader at CPMS and will be zoned for Jimmie Don Aycock Middle School next year, but you would like them to return to CPMS, please complete the transfer request form. (https://www.killeenisd.org/transfers) Transfer application submission deadline is April 30, 2024.

Parents can complete registration easily via the Home Access Center.

• Log in to Home Access Center (A Home Access Center account is required)
• Click the Registration icon in the menu.
• Select the Update Enrollment tab.
• Click the Start link to the right of the Current Student Registration form name.
• After verifying the student’s date of birth, you will be taken directly to the form.

Parents/Guardians should only be driving in the yellow area indicated on the map.

The red area is for buses only. Parents who enter the red area are putting students and staff at risk as there is limited visibility when buses are present.
