Important Dates

Monday, August 10th 4:30 PM~ Finalized class lists will be posted on Infinite Campus (please see important note below about class lists.)
Tuesday, August 11th 2:30-3:30 PM~ PTA "Stuff a Leo" event in the LES lunch area (see information below.)
Tuesday, August 11th 3:30-4:30~ Meet your child's teacher and listen to their Back to School presentations (see specific information below.)
Wednesday, August 12th~ First day of School! It is a modified day and all students will attend 8:50am-12:55pm. Gates open at 8:40.
Wednesday, August 12th 9:15-9:45 am~ TK and Kindergarten "Tears and Cheers" Parent Orientation in the LES multipurpose room (see information below.)
Thursday, August 13th~ This is a regular schedule day. TK and Kindergarten students will follow the Early Bird/ Late Bird schedule (see schedule below.)
Friday, September 4th~9:30-10:00 am~Coffee with the Principals (see more information below.)

Class Assignments

Dear TVUSD Families,

We are excited to welcome your students back for the 2026–27 school year beginning Wednesday, August 12th! Please make sure to regularly check your email for specific school site communication.

Finalized teacher assignments and class schedules will be available in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal on the following dates and times:

Elementary and Middle Schools: Monday, August 10 at 4:30 PM
High Schools: Tuesday, August 11 at 5:00 PM

Please note:

If you or your student is able to view a schedule or teacher assignment through a third-party educational app prior to the official release date, please be aware that this information is not finalized and is subject to change until it is officially published in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. We appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure a smooth and consistent start for all students.

If you need assistance accessing the Infinite Campus Parent Portal, please contact your school’s front office.

Reminder: parents must complete the Annual Family Update for all returning students prior to School Business Days or the first day of school to obtain student schedules.

Classroom Donations

We are all so excited to see you at our PTA event and Back to School night on Tuesday, August 11th. If you have supplies that you would like to donate to the classroom, you are welcome to bring them on Tuesday when you come to meet the teacher.

School Schedules

Important Beginning of the Year Reminders

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Safety Guidelines

The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. Please follow these guidelines when dropping off or picking up your child:

General Safety

Drive slowly and be patient in the loop
Obey all traffic signs and follow staff directions at all times
Use crosswalks at all times
Pull all the way forward in the loop before your child enters or excites the vehicle
Drivers must remain alert; no cell phone use while driving in the loop.

Arrival Time

Gates open at 8:40 am
There is no supervision before 8:40 am
If you arrive early, please stay with your child

Parking

Do not park or leave your vehicle unattended in the loop
Consider parking in the parking lot or on the street and walking if possible
If your child needs assistance entering or exiting the vehicle, you must park in the parking lot
