1. Flatten the coffee filter
Smooth it out on your work surface.
2. Color with markers (water based)
Add designs—dots, stripes, patches, anything!
(Tip: Bright colors blend best.)
3. Lightly spray with water
Mist the coffee filter until the colors start to blend.
Let it dry completely.
4. Fold the filter
Fold it in half, then into a pie-wedge shape (like a slice of pizza).
5. Fluff into a flower
Pinch the pointy end together and wrap a pipe cleaner around it.
Gently pull the petals apart to open the flower.
