A short Buzz for a short school week! A short Buzz for a short school week!

Hello, RVS families!

I hope you all had a great long weekend and a chance to clearly view the eclipse - many kids walked in this morning excited to share what they witnessed! While we do have a short week, we have a lot happening - please carefully review the upcoming events section to see where we will be in the coming days, as we have several off-campus activities on the agenda. In the event that your child is not planning to attend any of these trips, please let Tina or I know as soon as possible so that we can adjust transportation needs and groups ahead of time. Please note for any trips that students will have the option to bring home lunch as usual, or order a school lunch in the morning.

Next week, we are looking forward to hosting MRPS Loves Books Week ahead of April break. We will be completing fun activities throughout the week, voting on our favorite Red Clover book, hosting author Marty Kelley for a student presentation, and inviting students to visit a "book fair" hosted by our very own Caregivers Group, so that all students have a chance to bring home a new book for spring break. We are looking forward to this awesome literary celebration!

Have a great week ahead,

Shannon
