Coppell Choir Weekly Newsletter
September 20th-26th, 2026
Dear Coppell Choir Family
What a wonderful week we’ve had! Thank you to everyone who auditioned at the TMEA District Audition on Saturday, September 19. We are so proud of every single singer who put in the time, effort, and hard work to prepare for this audition. No matter the outcome, we hope you are proud of yourself and the work you put into this experience.
We want to take a moment to celebrate our amazing singers who will be advancing to Round 2, Region! Congratulations to all of our singers who will continue on to the next round. Please see below under the “Celebration” section for the audition results. We are so proud of you!
🏈 It’s Homecoming Week!
We have two exciting Homecoming events coming up this week: the Homecoming Parade on Wednesday and the Homecoming Game on Friday.
These two events are MANDATORY for all Varsity singers, but we highly encourage all other choir singers to participate as well! It is a wonderful opportunity to come together, support our school, and celebrate being part of the Coppell Choir family. We will pass out this year's choir shirts on Tuesday/Wednesday during class.
Please see below for more information about both events.
We have another exciting week ahead, and we can’t wait to see our singers continue to shine! 💙🎶
With gratitude,
Your Coppell Choir Directors

Voice Lesson Contract/Form
Dear Parents and Students,
We are excited to begin planning for the 2026–2027 school year and wanted to share information about our private voice lesson program. Voice lessons are an invaluable part of a singer’s development, and we strongly encourage all students to participate.
Voice lessons are a required component for students in our varsity ensembles: A Cappella and Kantorei.
To help us coordinate schedules and secure spots with our voice faculty, we ask that you please complete the Voice Lessons Commitment Form as soon as possible.
Your timely response will help ensure your student is placed with an instructor and receives the full benefit of this important part of our music curriculum.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re looking forward to another great year of growth and music-making!
