Restroom Vandalism: We Need Your Help

We are reaching out to ask for your partnership in addressing recent vandalism in our campus restrooms. We’ve seen significant damage to fixtures, doors, and dispensers, as well as general misuse of supplies.

Why This Matters

Our goal is to keep restrooms clean, safe, and open. However, when vandalism occurs:

  • Restrooms must be closed for repairs, causing inconvenience for all students.

  • Funds meant for student programs and classrooms are redirected to cover repair costs.

  • We may have to limit access to protect the facility—something we want to avoid.

Our Request

We are investigating these incidents, and those responsible will face disciplinary action and repair costs. However, we would prefer to solve this through student pride. Please talk to your student about the importance of respecting shared spaces. Our expectation is simple: Use the restroom, take care of it, and leave it better than you found it. If students see something, we encourage them to say something. Silence protects the problem; speaking up protects the school. Thank you for your support in keeping our campus functional and respectful.

Your Feedback Matters: FISD Survey Opens March 2

Frisco ISD is conducting a survey from March 2nd through 15th to gather valuable feedback from students, parents, and staff about the 2025-26 school year. Be on the lookout for emails from Frisco ISD with a link to the survey beginning March 2, and don’t miss this opportunity to share your thoughts!

📝 Important: End-of-Year Assessment Schedule

  • Excused Absences: Students with an excused absence during a testing window will be permitted to complete a make-up exam the following week.

  • Unexcused Absences: Please be aware that students with unexcused absences will not be permitted to make up the exam.

  • Academic Impact: Failure to complete an EOY assessment can negatively impact a student’s GPA and may jeopardize their ability to receive full credit for the course.

🔗 Resources for Families

  • Specific Assessment Details: For course-specific information, please review the Teacher/Course Q4 Assessment Plan.

  • Planning Ahead: You can view the full 2025–2026 Academic Calendar here.

Thank you for your continued partnership and for helping your student stay focused as we finish the year strong

A massive congratulations to our LT Best Buddies Chapter for officially achieving 5-Star Chapter status!

This prestigious designation isn't just a trophy on a shelf; it is the highest honor a chapter can receive from Best Buddies International. To earn this, our student leaders and members demonstrated excellence in:

  • Fostering genuine, one-to-one friendships between students with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

  • Maintaining high levels of participation in monthly events and community service.

  • Demonstrating consistent reporting, strong leadership training, and a commitment to the mission of inclusion.

This award recognizes LT Best Buddies Chapter as a leader in creating a school culture where everyone—regardless of ability—feels they belong. We are incredibly proud of our buddies and peer mentors for their heart, dedication, and school spirit.

February 7 marked an evening of tradition and pride as our NJROTC cadets gathered for their Military Ball—a reminder that leadership is forged not only in competition but also in ceremony, respect, and community. Then, this last week, they stepped into one of the most competitive arenas they’ll face all year: the Area 19 Championship. For NJROTC programs, this is effectively the state-level competition, bringing together top units from Arkansas, Texas, and Oklahoma. And our cadets delivered.

Lebanon Trail NJROTC placed 5th overall among all competing units—an accomplishment that reflects depth, preparation, and sustained excellence.

Our Academic Team earned 1st place, demonstrating that discipline of the mind is every bit as powerful as discipline of the body. Our Color Guard placed 3rd overall, representing LT with precision and professionalism.

Individually, we celebrate:

  • Cadet Vallecha – 1st Place, Academic

  • Cadet Rascon – 2nd Place, Academic

  • Cadet Samdaria – 2nd Place, Female Push-Ups

These results are not accidental. They are the outcome of early mornings, after-school practices, careful study, physical training, and a culture that expects excellence. What you see in these accomplishments is more than trophies or placements. You see commitment. You see leadership. You see young men and women choosing to hold themselves to a high standard—and meeting it.

We are incredibly proud of our NJROTC cadets and the way they continue to represent Lebanon Trail with strength, integrity, and honor.

EOY Vacation Scheduling

Every instructional day counts. Unlike in recent years, student grades and assessments will now be collected through the very last week of school. The final instructional day of the 2025-2026 school year is on May 22, 2026. We know that families often plan trips in advance, but please avoid scheduling family travel before that date, as absences can affect learning and final grades.

You can review the 2025-2026 academic calendar here. Thank you for helping your student finish the year strong!

Staff Shout Outs

We encourage you to use this form to nominate a teacher or staff member who you believe deserves special recognition for their contributions. I look forward to sharing your “Staff Shout Outs” with the LT staff.
