Please label your child’s belongings! Jackets, sweatshirts, hats, mittens, water bottles… You name it! 😊 Let’s keep our lost & found nice and empty!

3. 💤 Preschool friends at the Early Childhood Center
Please bring your child’s rest items each day. This helps make rest time a little more comfortable for everyone!

One of my favorite parts of the school year is watching children become more independent. Every day we see kids trying something new—making a new friend, solving a problem on their own, keeping track of their belongings, or stepping outside their comfort zone.

You can help us encourage this growth by having your child practice a few simple skills at home and at childcare, such as carrying their own backpack, putting on their coat and shoes, filling their water bottle, keeping track of their belongings, and remembering to bring home their artwork and school papers. These small responsibilities help build confidence and teach children that they’re capable of doing things on their own.

🧸 Clean Up Before Heading Home
Cleaning up is another great way we can encourage independence! Before leaving each day, please have your child help clean up the toys or activities they were using. This builds responsibility, teaches great life skills, and helps keep our classrooms clean and ready for everyone to enjoy. 😊

Our Cokato staff also want to give a big shout-out to our Cokato families—you’ve been doing such a great job helping with this! We really appreciate your support and teamwork.

It’s amazing to watch how much children grow throughout the school year. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of that journey and for working with us to help your child become a confident, capable, and independent learner!

Planning on using childcare for an upcoming non-school day? Please remember to register at least two weeks before the first non-school day in that group of days. This helps us plan staffing and make sure we’re prepared for everyone attending. REGISTER HERE

Need to cancel a day you’ve already registered for?
Please email Jennifer at least two weeks before the non-school day to receive credit back for that day. If you cancel with less than two weeks’ notice, we can still remove your child from the attendance list, but the day will remain charged. Because we schedule staff and plan activities based on our registrations, we’re not always able to make last-minute changes.

Not sure if you’re registered? No problem! Check your ARUX account to see your upcoming non-school days or to register for care. We’ve included a step-by-step picture below to help walk you through it! 😊

You can also reference our childcare calendar for registration deadlines throughout the year. We’ll also send out text reminders as each registration deadline gets closer, so hopefully there won’t be any surprises! 😊

🍕 October 15 – Food Theme Day
Get ready for a fun day centered around FOOD!

Come dressed in your PJs and bring your favorite stuffy! 🧸

Cokato friends will also be building forts, so bring along blankets and sheets for some extra fort-building fun! (Blankets and sheets are needed for Cokato families only.)

🍂 October 19 – Fall Fun Day
We’ll enjoy some fun fall activities together!

🧸 Preschool families: Don’t forget to send your child’s rest items for the day at the Center!

🥪 Lunch Reminder: All students will need to bring a bag lunch on non-school days.

Let's be honest—reading an entire handbook isn't exactly exciting! 😄 Our Family Handbook contains important information about our program, policies, and procedures, but we know it can be a lot to read all at once.

Each month, we'll highlight a different section of the handbook to help keep families informed about important reminders, policies, and program expectations. These quick highlights will make it easier to stay up to date and may even answer questions you didn't know you had!

Schedules, Absences, Billing, Payments & Fees

A few reminders to help keep your account and attendance information up to date:

✅ Need an extra day?

Additional days may be added if space is available and will be charged at the daily rate.

❌ Schedule swaps are not available.

If you need a different day, please contact us to see if an additional day can be added.

📝 Making a long-term schedule change?

Requests to permanently add or remove days must be submitted through your ARUX account. Schedule change fees apply.

👋 Withdrawing from the program?

A two-week written notice is required. Schedule change fees apply.

☎️ Reporting an absence

Please notify Chargers Childcare whenever your child will not attend a scheduled day. Remember, schools do not notify childcare when students are absent or leave school early. During the school year, we must receive notice by 2:30 pm to avoid a finder's fee.

Report an Absence Form

💳 Tuition is based on reserved care

Childcare fees are charged based on the days reserved for your child, not the days they attend. Tuition is not adjusted for absences.

📅 Payments

Tuition is due according to your billing schedule. Please make payments on time to avoid late fees or interruptions in care.

📝 Registration Fees

Registration fees are due at the time of enrollment and help reserve your child's spot in the program each registration season.

⏰ Late Pick-Up Fee

Please arrive before closing time. Late pick-ups will be charged according to the fee schedule outlined in the Family Handbook.

✍️ Finder's Fee

A $10 Finder's Fee will be assessed if a child is not properly signed in or out or if an after-school absence is not reported by 2:30 PM.

⚠️ Delinquent Accounts

Accounts must remain current to maintain enrollment. Continued nonpayment may result in suspension or termination of childcare services until the balance is paid in full.
