Attendance Matters: Early Release Day & Pep Rally Schedule Attendance Matters: Early Release Day & Pep Rally Schedule

Please note that our upcoming Early Release Day and Pep Rally schedule remain instructional school days, and student attendance is expected.

Teachers will be providing required learning experiences and assignments that are connected to instruction taking place that day. Because of the nature of these activities, missed work from these events will not be available for make-up.

Families should also be aware that student check-outs will not be permitted on these days except in circumstances that meet district attendance requirements.

While the schedules may be adjusted, our commitment to teaching and learning remains unchanged. We appreciate your partnership in ensuring every Coyote is present and engaged. 🐺💚💛

As temperatures begin to cool, we want all Coyotes to stay comfortable while following campus dress code expectations.

✅ Jackets and hoodies are encouraged.
✅ Students may wear appropriate cold-weather clothing.

Please remember:

  • Hats and beanies are not permitted on campus and must be put away and not visible before entering through the black gates.
  • Blankets are not permitted on campus.
  • Hoods should not be worn over students' heads while on campus and must remain down.
  • Students are not required to remain outside before school. Once on campus, students have access to indoor areas such as the cafeteria, media center, and hallways where they can immediately get out of the elements.

Need access to cold weather gear? We can help! Reach out to Ms. Ondinia Garrett to connect to our ABC Program.

Thank you for helping us maintain a safe, secure, and focused learning environment while staying warm this season! 🐺💚💛

Be a Hero, Stay Drug Free! Superhero Dress-Up Day!

It's Red Ribbon Week, and we're calling all Coyote superheroes! Red Ribbon Week is a nationwide campaign that encourages students to make healthy choices, stay drug free, and take a stand against drug use. It's a time to celebrate making positive decisions and supporting one another.

This year's theme is "Be a Hero, Stay Drug Free!"

On Wednesday (Early Release Day), students are encouraged to dress as their favorite superhero to show their support for a drug-free future! Whether you're Superman, Wonder Woman, Spider-Man, or your own original superhero, we want to see your creativity and Coyote spirit!

Remember, you don't need superpowers to be a hero. Sometimes being a hero is as simple as making good choices, standing up for yourself, and looking out for your friends.

No cape required, just the courage to make good choices!

Be a Hero, Stay Drug Free! Go Coyotes!
