Welcome Back, El Rancho!

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! For generations, our schools have been at the heart of the El Rancho community, and we are excited to begin another year together. As we welcome students and families back, we celebrate the traditions that have shaped us, the pride we share in our students, staff and community, and our continued commitment to giving every student opportunities to learn, grow and thrive.

Together, we begin this year rooted in tradition, fueled by pride and in pursuit of excellence.

Measure ER: Summer Construction Update

While students were away for summer, work continued across El Rancho Unified on projects funded through Measure ER.

Progress continued on multipurpose room renovations at several elementary schools, while improvements at El Rancho High School moved forward on the new restroom and concession building, music classroom, campus entrance, future science building, and pool shade structure. These projects are helping create safer, more comfortable and welcoming spaces for students, staff and families.

Watch our summer construction update for a closer look at the progress happening across the District and how your support of Measure ER continues to improve our schools.

Stay Connected with Our New Districtwide Events Calendar

Keeping track of events across multiple schools just got easier! This year, school calendars across El Rancho Unified are connected directly to our District and school websites, giving families one convenient place to see what’s happening across ERUSD.

Visit the District Events page and select which school calendars you’d like to see. You can view events from one school or select multiple schools to see their calendars together—especially helpful for families with children attending different ERUSD schools.

From school events and family activities to important District dates, the calendar makes it easier to stay informed throughout the year.
