The Adair FCCLA officers welcomed students and staff back to school with ice cream on Friday and a sweet treat in their lockers.

Chemistry students used an indicator to demonstrate the neutralization of a base. They made carbonic acid from the carbon dioxide they breathe out!

Our very own assistant SRO, Matt Penderson, participated in this activity. It only took him 18 seconds to neutralize the base in his beaker!
