ELC Update 12-2-24
Hello, ELC Families!
Our ABC Countdown continues as we move into the last two full weeks of Kindergarten (please see more information from your child’s teacher on how we are celebrating each day)! We would like to say an extra special "thank you" to all the parents & family members that participated in our "M is for Mystery Reader" day last week...so much fun!
This week….
Field Days & Field trips to DVE & MLE! 😀
Students who will be going to DVE for 1st grade will be taking a Field Trip to DVE the morning of Thurs., June 5, and the MLE students will be staying at the ELC for their Field Day.
Students who will be going to MLE for 1st grade will be taking a Field Trip to MLE the morning of Fri., June 6, and the DVE students will be staying at the ELC for their Field Day.
June 5…5:00-6:30pm….both DVE and MLE will be hosting “Welcome to 1st Grade Nights!” Please plan on attending at your child’s respective school for next year.
Next two weeks….
June 10…early release at 1:20pm to support graduations
June 11…Evening Kindergarten Celebration…PLEASE watch for communication on the 20 min timeframe that your child’s class will be performing. **To ensure we have adequate parking for all, we kindly ask that you only attend during your child's performance time and reserve invites to immediate family members.
June 17…LAST day of school! Early release at 11:50…NO lunch will be served

Tues.-Fri. Student Day: 8:35-3:20 (drop off can begin at the Kindergarten doors at 8:20 when staff are present)
Mon. Student Day (90-min late start day): 10:10-3:20 (drop off can begin at the Kindergarten doors when staff are present at 9:55)

Upcoming Dates
6/5 – Daffodil Valley (DVE) and Maple Lawn (MLE) Elementaries will each be hosting a “Welcome to 1st Grade!” night for our ELC Kindergarten students…5:00-6:30pm
6/5 – Our ELC Kindergarteners going to DVE for 1st grade will be going on a field trip to DVE during the school day!
6/6 – Our ELC Kindergarteners going to MLE for 1st grade will be going on a field trip to MLE during the school day!
6/10 – Kindergarten will be dismissed at 1:20pm (2 hrs early) to support the high school graduation
6/11 – Kindergarten Celebration Night at the ELC….please watch for more specifics on the time you/your child should plan on being at the ELC
6/17 – LAST Day of School! (early release at 11:50…lunch will not be served)
