Monk Fryston Newsletter 6.11.26
Dear parents and carers,
It has been lovely to welcome everyone back after the half-term break. I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable week and that the children have returned feeling refreshed and ready for the weeks ahead. It has been a busy week in school with many highlights, including year 5 and 6's trip to the Leeds Industrial Museum yesterday, where they found out more about the Industrial Revolution, and some amazing rocket creations in reception, which they were very proud of!
We started to practise our first Christmas songs in singing worship this week, and we can't wait to share the Christmas joy with you as we head into December. Next week I will share a full rundown of the Christmas festivities so you know what will be happening in school throughout the festive season.
A big thank you to all the parents and carers who attended Parents' Evenings this week. It was lovely to see you all and for teachers to have the opportunity to share how well the children are doing, celebrate their achievements and talk about their next steps.
As you know, the NHS Wellbeing in Mind team have begun to work with us to support children's mental health and wellbeing, As part of their work, we would like to understand better how you feel about the wellbeing support for children and their families that we currently provide, so that we know what we need to do to improve. We would be very grateful if you could find the time to complete the short survey, which you can find on this link: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/pages/responsepage.aspx?id=slTDN7CF9UeyIge0jXdO41NrCkbwqzREtQWHlBHGQMJUQjZWWlZFWU1CTTI3MEZKOVY1TEcySk42WiQlQCNjPTEu&route=shorturl
Thank you, as always, for your continued support. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
