Because we cover multiple schools and are receiving an increase in emails, it is more important than ever to have your email signature updated! It is also helpful to attach a picture to your Google profile. In your signature, include your campus name and your room number. If you already have a signature line and a profile picture, thank you... you rock! Having this information really does help!

As a reminder video conferencing with students is only permitted with the use of the Schoology Conference button. No other LIVE video conferencing tools (Zoom, Meet, etc.) are permitted with students. Video recording tools such as Flipgrid, screencasts, and YouTube, for example, are permissible since those are shared recordings that educators can control in a closed, non-public environment. Teachers are also allowed to do screencasts, audio recordings, and videos of their lessons as well.

This week we will be focusing on integrating external tools within Schoology. We will be highlighting BrainPop, Nearpod, and Flipgrid. Please be sure to attend one of the training sessions being led by your DLS.
