Needham Knights School Spirit Wear
We are excited to continue building a strong sense of community and pride at our school! One way students can show their school spirit is by wearing school spirit gear such as t-shirts, hoodies, or other items with our school colors or logo.
Wearing spirit wear on designated days—and even throughout the week—helps create a sense of belonging and unity among our students. If you are able, we encourage families to consider purchasing school spirit clothing for their child.
Thank you for helping us build a positive and spirited school community!
California State Assessments
Dear Needham Knights Families,
Our Needham Knights in grades 3rd-6th are gearing up to participate in the statewide assessments in the month of April (see below for the schedule). Parents and guardians can help Needham Knights prepare for the CAASPP and CAST by speaking with them about the importance of the test and encouraging them to do their personal best. Needham Elementary will provide snacks to students during testing and would appreciate any donations. All items donated need to be store bought.
Needham Knights will be taking the following tests:
Smarter Balanced Assessments (SBA), Grades 3-6: The Smarter Balanced ELA and Mathematics tests reflect California’s rigorous academic standards and allow students to demonstrate analytical writing and critical thinking skills as well as their knowledge of facts.
California Science Test (CAST), Grade 5: California’s state standards for science call for science to think and work like scientists and engineers-asking questions and learning through hands-on investigation and discovery.
