If you need to dismiss your child early, please keep in mind that lunch and recess times may affect how smoothly we are able to bring your student to the office. Planning pick-ups outside of those times whenever possible helps ensure a smoother transition.

Below is a list of lunch times to help with planning and not that recess generally follows lunch:

• Kindergarten: 11:30 - 11:55

• Grade 1: 11:15 - 11:45

• Grade 2: 11:45 - 12:15

• Grade 3: 12:00 - 12:25

• Grade 4: 12:15 - 12:40

• Grade 5: 12:30 - 12:55

Thursday, Nov. 6th:

1:00 - 3:00 (virtually)

5:30 - 8:00 (in-person)

Friday, Nov. 7th:

8:30 - 3:00 (virtually)

The Pick-A-Time scheduling program will open on Wednesday, October 22nd at 7:00 PM and close on Tuesday, November 4th at 7:00 PM. After the program closes, no additional conferences can be scheduled to allow teachers and staff time to prepare.

A letter with additional details regarding Fall Conferences will be sent out shortly.

For fall conferences, we will be using the online program “Pick-a-Time” to schedule appointments.

• If you have previously registered for conferences in the district, simply log in using the e-mail and password you used before.

• If you are new to the system, you will need to register first.
  
  

To register:

1. Enter your e-mail address and click “Login/Create Account.” If you do not have an e-mail address, you may use the format: first initial + last name @fakemail.com.
   
   

2. Complete the required fields to register.
   
   

3. For each child, enter their student ID, which is their full first name (not a nickname), a space, and their last name. Then enter their security value, which is their birthdate in m/d/yyyy format (for example: 5/3/2010, not mm/dd/yyyy). Click “Add” to include each child.
   
   

When scheduling appointments:

A. Each colored square represents an available meeting time. The legend shows which teacher corresponds to each color. You will see only the teachers your children have classes with. Click on a square to book your preferred time. Your priority should be your child’s classroom teacher.

B. Choose when you want the reminder e-mail to be sent, then click “Create Appointment.”

C. You can click “Printable Schedule” at any time to print a hard copy of your schedule.

Even though the rain brought Picture Day indoors, it was still a great success! Retake Day has been scheduled for Monday, November 17th. This will be after the proofs are distributed, giving families the chance to request a retake or have the picture taken for the first time, if they missed the first session.

*Note* Class pictures will be distributed to all students once the Retake Picture Packets are received.

We are excited to announce that Lancaster Youth Basketball registration is now live from grades K-8. This is rec basketball.

Grades K-2 have 90 minute sessions on Saturday mornings starting in early December at MRE. No evening practices.

Grades 3-4 have one evening practice per week, and games are typically held on Sunday afternoons. Practices start mid-November.

Grades 5-8 have one evening practice per week, and games are typically held on Saturdays. Practices start mid-November and all teams make the playoffs, the first weekend in February
