Morning Drop-Off Safety Reminder
Morning Drop-Off Safety Reminder
Families, please remember that staff supervision begins at 7:15 a.m. For the safety of all students, children should not be dropped off or left unattended before 7:15 a.m.
Car Riders: Please keep your child in the vehicle until 7:15 a.m. and staff are present to receive students. Students should not exit vehicles early and wait outside the building unattended.
Walk-Up Families: Please walk your child to the front door and remain with them until 7:15 a.m., when staff arrive to receive students. Students should not be left at the front door unattended.
These procedures are in place to ensure that students are supervised and safe from the moment they arrive on campus. Thank you for your partnership in helping us keep our Bullpups safe!

Arrival Procedures
SGE doors open at 7:15am. The school day begins at 7:40am. The tardy bell rings at 7:45am. Students planning to eat breakfast at school should arrive by 7:35am. If your student arrives to school after 7:35am, please be sure he/she eats breakfast at home. Visitors are not able to join our students for breakfast. Stay in your car! The teachers on duty will assist with the unloading of your student. If you prefer to unload your child, please park in a parking spot and walk your child up to the doors using the crosswalk. The only "walk-ups" allowed will be families who are truly walking to school from their home. To ensure your child arrives to the campus safely, please walk your student up to the campus rather than sending him/her to walk alone. The back doors on campus are for bus riders. The front doors are for car riders and walkers. Parking on a nearby street to walk your child up to the campus will not be allowed due to a city-school agreement. Our school neighbors appreciate your cooperation! If you arrive after the 7:45 bell, you will need to walk your student inside the building and check him/her in. Please do not send the child in alone. SPECIAL NOTE FOR PreK STUDENTS: All PreK students will report directly to their PreK hallway upon arrival each morning. PreK classes will eat breakfast together at 8am.

New Car Rider Procedures
New Car Rider Procedure
To help ensure the safety of all students and keep afternoon dismissal running
smoothly, all parents and guardians must display their official school-issued
Car Rider Tag when picking up students.
Car Rider Tags Are Required:
● Please have your Car Rider Tag clearly displayed as you enter the car rider line
each afternoon.
Forgot Your Car Rider Tag?
If you arrive without your Car Rider Tag:
1. You will need to park your vehicle in the parking lot.
2. Visit the front office with your ID to purchase a new Car Rider Tag for $5.30 per
tag.
3. After receiving your new tag, you will need to re-enter the correct car rider line
to pick up your child.
For the safety of our students, we cannot release students through the car rider line
without a valid Car Rider Tag.
Car Rider Tags
● Car rider tags are reusable year to year.
● Notify the office of new siblings attending SGE.
● If you need additional tags, they will need to be purchased in the school office or
online through the school store for $5.30 per tag.
Thank you for your cooperation and partnership in helping us maintain a safe, secure,
and efficient dismissal process for all students.

Burnet CISD Transportation
BCISD Transportation utilizes the Stopfinder app to communicate with families.
Stopfinder is the all-in-one, easy to use app for viewing and sharing your student's transportation schedule.
