Our Learning Community...
All week our UTK-5th teachers will be meeting with families for conferences. They will share your child's report card and discuss the progress they have made over the first trimester of the school year.
Every day this week is a MINIMUM DAY, early dismissal at 11:40/11:50 am.
This week we are also hosting the Scholastic Book Fair in the library. When you are on campus in the afternoon for conferences you are welcome to come by the library and shop for books too. All of the money raised gets invested right back into our library! See the flyer below for more details.
Thursday, November 16th is the Turkey Trot! This is a fun run/walk for students and all families are welcome to participate too! Grade levels come out to the DG field at their designated time and run/walk with friends and family. The details are on the flyer below. We hope you can make it!
Finally, our Student Council has planned a fun Spirit Week for this week! Each day's theme can be found in the flyer below. We cannot wait to see our Dolphin's creativity on display as we head into the Fall Break.
1st Graders are currently in a weekly Art rotation with Mrs. Schwartz and Mr. Patrick. They are taking inspiration from Wassily Kandinsky's abstract art.

Jones Elementary PTA
Our Parent Teacher Association works with Jones Elementary to provide programs and support to benefit the students, their families, teachers, school administration and the community. Run entirely by volunteers, the PTA raises money to support enrichment programs, program instructors, educational assemblies and field trips, family events, and special classroom supplies.
