✅If your child will be absent any day December 15-19, please let their teachers know and submit an absence note in Skyward. Missed exams can be made up on Monday, January 5th.

🎁The holiday season is upon us, and you may be looking for ways to thank your child's teachers. A kind note or email is always appreciated, but if you're looking to do more, you can find staff favorites listed here! We love showing appreciation for our awesome teachers and know that you do, too!

🔍Clubs are a great way for students to get connected at Hays! In accordance with SB12, a parent or guardian must provide written permission before a student may participate in a club. If your child will be participating in a club this year, please complete this form. ***Please note that more clubs will be added to this list as they are approved throughout the semester. If your child is interested in a club that's not listed, encourage them to talk to a teacher about getting it started!🔗Hays Clubs Website

Together We Cultivate

• This week, students in our College & Career class participated in mock interviews. They developed resumes, researched a preferred job to interview for, and even dressed the part to practice landing their dream job!
• Four students - Theo, Siddharth, Jadyn, and Hansini - participated on a student panel for the Teacher Leadership Institute. Total stars of the show! Speaking openly and honestly to a room full of teachers is no easy feat, and these students made us so proud!
• Health Science students spent a morning learning about a variety of careers in health care from experts in the field! Thank you to the parents, family members of staff, and community members who volunteered their time to share lots of pertinent information with our students.

• Huge thanks to the Knight family for organizing Friday morning's community thank you event! Rock Hill football players handed out muffins and juice during carpool, and our Hays athletes, cheerleaders, and Sapphires added lots of spirit to the festivities. The Knight family's goal is to spread kindness and hope in memory of their daughter, Kysha, a former Hays student.

Prosper ISD’s Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs help students discover passions, build real-world skills, and prepare for future careers — and your feedback matters! We’re inviting parents/guardians to share their thoughts through a short questionnaire focused on program awareness, accessibility, and student outcomes. Your voice helps shape opportunities for Prosper ISD students — and you will also have a chance to get involved by supporting our CTE Advisory Committee if you’re interested! Thank you for helping us keep Prosper ISD’s CTE programs strong and connected to our community!

• To ensure student safety at Hays, all students who attend campus events as spectators are required to be picked up by 8:00 p.m. or shortly after the event ends, whichever comes first, unless they are attending the game with a parent. Students who are not picked up on time may lose the privilege of attending future events.
• For ANY games played at Children's Health Stadium, please also utilize the Clear Bag policy.
