A Message from Your President
Welcome Back, OMTA!
Today marks the 40th day of school. Oh, how time is flying.
As your OMTA team, we are excited to get out and connect with you! Your newly elected OMTA Directors have started to visit school sites so we can hear directly from you—what’s going well, what challenges you’re facing, and how we can better support you. We enjoy visiting with you, hearing from you, and working with you to make this a great year for our members.
Let’s Get Proposition 3 Across the Finish Line!
We need your help! Proposition 3 (formerly known as Prop 30/55) is an important opportunity to keep crucial funding to our school. This year OMSD will receive $75 million! This funding makes a real difference for our students, classrooms, and educators. Your voice and your vote matter. Tell your family, friends, and neighbors to support Prop 3! Are you willing to join other educators walk in support? Sign up at prop3.link/canvass today. Let’s work together to get Proposition 3 passed!
Share your thoughts with us!
We cannot make positive change without your help and input. Over the coming months, OMTA will be inviting you to take part in roundtables and surveys. Please take a moment to help guide us, so we can best advocate for you.
Thank you for all that you do for our students, our schools, and one another. We are stronger together!
