📆Clarification of Calendar Update📆
As shared in the Superintendent's message last evening, the last day of school for students will be Friday, June 26. This will be a full day of school.
Dear DMS Families,
This week marked the conclusion of another successful athletic season at DMS. We would like to congratulate all of our student-athletes for their hard work, dedication, perseverance, and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the season. Whether on the field or court, our athletes represented DMS and DR with pride, demonstrating teamwork, commitment, and respect for their competitors. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and the positive example they set for our school community.
We were also honored to welcome back our former DMS students and DR graduates as they participated in the annual senior walk through the halls of DMS in celebration of their upcoming graduation. This special tradition provided a meaningful opportunity for graduates to reconnect with former teachers and staff members who played a role in their educational journey. It was equally inspiring to see our current students cheering on the graduates and envisioning their own future successes. The event served as a powerful reminder of the strong connections within our school community and the lasting impact of the relationships built throughout a student's educational experience. We extend our congratulations to the Class of 2026 and wish them continued success as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we work together to finish the school year strong. I hope everyone enjoys a relaxing weekend and has a wonderful week ahead!
Warmly,

Districtwide Branding Town Hall
The Dighton-Rehoboth Regional School District invites families, students, staff, alumni, and community members to attend our Districtwide Branding Town Hall Virtual Meeting on June 22, 2026, at 7:00 PM.
Building on the successful rebranding of Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School, we are exploring the possibility of creating a unified district identity that would connect our students from their earliest school experiences through graduation. Imagine being a Falcon from PreK through Grade 12—a shared identity that celebrates our traditions, strengthens school pride, and unites our community.
This Town Hall is an opportunity to learn more about the initiative, ask questions, share your thoughts, and help shape the future of our district. Whether you are excited about the idea, have questions, or simply want to learn more, we encourage you to join us and make your voice heard.
Together, we can help define what it means to be part of the Dighton-Rehoboth community.

The DR Summer Experience is open to current 5th, 6th and 7th graders. This experience is a great way for your child to explore a variety of CTE programs offered at DRRHS. Late Bus Ending
🚍🚍 BUS SAFETY REMINDERS FOR ALL FAMILIES 🚍🚍
A reminder for all members of the Dighton-Rehoboth community of the critical importance of stopping for school buses.
This week, a family reported a serious safety concern in which a vehicle illegally passed a stopped school bus while a student was actively boarding. The bus’s red lights were flashing and the stop-arm was extended, and the student was in the stairwell at the time of the incident. Fortunately, no one was injured, but this situation highlights a very real and dangerous risk for our students.
Passing a stopped school bus is not only illegal, it puts children in immediate danger. Students boarding and exiting buses are among the most vulnerable pedestrians on our roadways, and they rely on all drivers to follow the law and exercise caution.
We ask all drivers, parents, guardians, students, and community members, to:
Stop completely when a school bus has its red lights flashing and stop-arm extended, regardless of direction of travel (unless on a divided highway with a physical median).
Be alert in school zones and residential areas, especially during morning and afternoon bus routes.
Model safe and responsible driving behavior for our students.
Ensuring the safety of our children is a shared responsibility. We appreciate your partnership in helping keep every student safe on their way to and from school. Thank you for keeping our community safe.

As we plan for the upcoming school year, we want to share information about our Enhanced Math placement process for students entering Grade 7. Our goal is to place each student in a learning environment that supports their current skills while providing the right level of challenge, with Enhanced Math designed for students ready for a faster-paced, more rigorous experience. Placement decisions are based on multiple measures, including classroom performance, teacher recommendations, MCAS, and district benchmarks, and reflect a comprehensive view of each student’s readiness, not a single score. Students in Enhanced Math will engage with grade-level and above-grade-level content with a deeper understanding and accelerated pace, requiring strong study habits, organization, and perseverance. If you have questions or would like to discuss your child’s placement, please reach out, we value our partnership and are committed to shaping every student's success.
Your math teacher will provide you with more information.
