School picture day is TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1. Students will take their school picture on SEPTEMBER 1ST during their PE class. Portraits will be available for purchase through Cornerstone! See below.

• Do not lose your ID card! Students need this card daily for first access into the cafeteria for nutrition and lunch. Those who forget their ID card will wait in a secondary line. We do this to help the efficiency of the cafeteria to serve all of our students in a timely manner.
• Replacement ID cards are available for $5 in the main office during the school year.
• Absent on Picture Day? There will be a make up day end of September.

• FINAL DAYS!!! There will be no orders accepted after September 3rd.

• Items will be shipped to Redwood MS after the pre-order window closes on September 3rd.

Students will receive a copy of this form in their Period 1 class prior to September 10th. Students will be responsible for completing the schedule for parents/guardians to follow at Back to School Night. Student schedules can also be found on Q Parent Connect.

Two upcoming important B&G events:

1. The Notter Boys & Girls Club is offering a Back to Club Night on Friday, September 4th. This is an opportunity for families to connect, meet staff, and explore programs offered exclusively by the BGC.
2. Boys and Girls Club will offer child care during Redwood Middle School's Back to School Night on Thursday, September 10th from 5:30-7:30 pm.There are NO children at BTSN so consider using the free B&G childcare drop off as needed. Information and release forms for free BTSN childcare is in the Redwood main office.

• It is strongly recommended to pick up and drop off OUTSIDE of the Redwood parking lot. Consider parking across the street along the dirt path near Tarantula Hill.
• Students can use the crosswalk and meet you across the street.
• Added bonus- using the crosswalk helps us keep the crossing guard!
• Families are also encouraged to delay pick up even by 5-10 minutes.. The parking lot clears typically under 10 minutes. If you pick up a few minutes later you will help lessen the cars near campus at one time.

We have coaches for Boys Basketball and Girls Volleyball Grade 6.

• Boys Basketball- Tryouts with Coach Costa will be 8/31and 9/2 3:30pm-5pm in the Redwood Gym.
• Girls Volleyball GRADE 6 - Try outs will be announced soon.

Do you own a local business or know someone who does? Consider buying a banner to support Redwood PTSA and advertise your company on the Redwood fence! Details for purchasing a banner for this school year can be found in the flyer below. Direct any questions to the amazing Redwood PTSA. Banners will be displayed on the inside parking lot fence line this year.
