2025-2026
๐โ Happy 2026 โ๐
Happy New Year! As we embark on a fresh start, let's set positive goals with our children. At home, we hope you continue to emphasize care, support, and encouragement. At school, we'll continue to motivate and engage learners while reinforcing expectations to be respectful, responsible, and safe. Together, we can make this year successful and rewarding for our children.
Weather Preparedness Reminder
Please ensure your children are dressed appropriately for the weather, as we continue to have outdoor recess unless it's dangerously cold. To prevent items from getting lost, consider labeling your child's jacket and belongings. Encourage them to check the lost-and-found if something goes missing.
Portrait of a Cedar: Communicator
In January, we're excited to focus on the character trait of "Communicator." Being a great communicator means coming up with creative ideas, thinking outside the box, and finding cool ways to solve problems. It also means using different tools and resources to share those ideas with others. We look forward to recognizing and celebrating those students who show these valuable skills in their learning journey.
Connect
We encourage you to stay connected with your child's classroom through SeeSaw and MyPowerHub. If you encounter any difficulties reaching your child's teacher, please don't hesitate to contact the Northwest Office. Our Northwest team is committed to fostering community connections and will keep you informed about all the exciting events happening at school.
