Celebrating 70 Years of Regal/Duval!
Week of December 1st
Dear Duval Families-
Welcome to December! With just three weeks until break, we have LOTS to fit in.
In the next few weeks, we will have Peter Reynolds visiting Duval, the annual Holiday Shop, the 70s Decade Assembly, a Pod Meeting, Cards for Community, the Mitten Tree, the Brain Show, and a Theme Week! But a new, exciting event was just invented over break... the 67th Day of the Year! See below.
We are still getting used to our new schedule and staffing so please bear with us as we do. As always, we appreciate the offers for volunteering, especially at lunch, recess, or in the library. Please email Dr. M or Ms. C if you have any availability.
Don't forget to hit up Deag's on Tuesday or Wednesday! The local collabs have been so much fun for everyone, and a great fundraiser for the PTO!

6-7 Day!
With the popularity of the internet meme "6-7" and our 67th Day being Friday, we thought, Why Not!?
Along with lots of fun learning activities throughout the day, kids are invited to Dress Up in some way that relates to 6-7. Must be appropriate for school but be creative!
Electronic Device Clarification
We keep encountering violations of our electronic use policy.
There is to be NO texting, videotaping, audio recording, or game playing on watches, phones, or any other electronic device brought from home during school. Students may not text home, and adults may not text students from 9-3:15 daily. E-devices will be confiscated and will have to be picked up from the office. In urgent situations, students may always ask their teacher or Dr. M/Ms. C for an exception.

Hi Duval Families!
As December begins we have several important dates coming up. Please see dates and flyers below for more info. We have our annual Food Drive, RaiseRight gift card, Deag’s partnership, holiday shop and Brain Show coming up! Tomorrow- December 1st- is the first Raise Right due date. If you have never participated this an easy way to get holiday shopping done while helping out Duval. You receive the full value of all gift cards and Duval gets a % of the total funds raised from Raise Right. Cards will be sent home to you or pickup can be arranged. A second and final order will be placed 12/12 and cards will be here before the holidays!
Also this week- our food drive officially kicks off and our December partnership with Deag’s is 12/2 and 12/3. Grab some lunch or dinner either day and Duval will receive a portion of the funds.
Next week is one of most highly anticipated events of the year- holiday shop! Students will have an opportunity to purchase gifts for family and friends. All gifts are $1. Please see attached flyer for when each class comes as well as a shopping list template. Print this list to use or make your own- a list helps keep the shop running smoothly.
