Walk-A-Thon

Thank you so much for your generosity with THE Walk-A-Thon. The money collected will be used to keep the book vending machine stocked, buy special seating for classrooms, and other necessities throughout the year.

So far we have collected more than $7500!!!

You guys are simply amazing!

We are still accepting donations until the day of the event. In order to participate each student needs to bring in $10. If you bring in at least $30, you will still get a t-shirt, we just can't guarantee that it will be here in time for the event.

Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Fundraiser

Central Elementary recently partnered with Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Michigan for a fundraiser for the Hero Squad to help patients with blood cancers, the most commonly diagnosed childhood cancer. This year, students and families were able to donate online and share via social media their giving generosity. Generous, caring students and families of Central have raised over $2,400 online and in cash donations through the month of April. Each in person classroom competed against each other to earn the Dominos pizza party. The winning classroom was Mrs. Carbary's second grade. Collectively, they raised over $800. They will enjoy a pizza party in the month of May. We are so proud of the families and students who put others ahead of themselves and made a difference for people with these difficult diagnoses. Thank you Central families and students for your kindness, empathy and generosity!

WE LOVE OUR NEW BOOK VENDING MACHINE!!!!!

The book vending machine is a big hit. The kids are working hard to earn books and are so excited to be able to pick one out. The donations for the walk-a-thon helps keep the vending machine stocked.
