Principal's Message
Dear GTMS Families,
As we reach the end of another successful school year, we want to express how proud we are of our 8th grade students. Your hard work, dedication, and achievements have been truly inspiring, and we look forward to seeing all the wonderful things you will accomplish in the future.
To our current 7th graders, we are excited to watch you continue to grow and thrive as you step into 8th grade. Your journey is just beginning, and we believe in your potential to achieve great things.
We also extend a warm welcome to our incoming 7th graders. We can't wait to meet you at our 7th Grade Orientation on August 14th. This will be a great opportunity for you to get to know your new teachers, classmates, and the school environment.
Wishing everyone a safe and enjoyable summer break!

8th Grade Trip: Beachcomber
The 8th grade students enjoyed their field trip to the Beachcomber Camping Resort while they took advantage of amenities such as the pool, lake, volleyball, basketball, paddleboard, canoeing, arcade and more. Students shared laughs and memories with their fellow 8th grade peers. The students had TONS of FUN! Thank you to our students, staff, administration, and FSA for such a successful event.
Grill Masters!
Thank you FSA!
7th Grade BASH
To end the school year for the 7th graders, GTMS had the 7th Grade Bash!! Students rotated to four different stations that had various activities at each station. Some of the activities that the students enjoyed were having a choice of flag football, soccer, and backyard games. Inside Mr. Waldman hosted different relay games and ended the activity with ever popular teacher mummy wrap. Outside on the front field there was a bounce house obstacle course and other activities. Out in the bus loop students could relax with their friends while they had a Kona Ice or some declicous doughnuts from DonutNV.
Thank you to all the staff and parent volunteers who made this a successful day for our 7th graders.

Some of the activities, were disc golf, kickball, relay races, sidewalk chalk and walk, art rooms, board games, and video game room to name a few. Harassments, Intimidation & Bullying (HIB)
It is imperative that we continue to teach our students the effects that bullying has on others and a community. Every student deserves a safe and supportive learning environment, free from fear and harassment. Any instance of bullying should be promptly reported to the administration or staff member, who will take immediate and appropriate action to address the situation. By fostering a culture of kindness, empathy, and respect, we can create a school community where all students feel valued and accepted.
