The Master Principal session last week was focused on student supports (e.g. SPED, ELLs, GT) and tracking evidence our practices are working. This is one way our PLC, RTI, & grading systems are supporting the right work.

In learning more about the UDL framework for supporting students with learning differences, the quote above stood out to me because it's an important mindset we must have to ensure we live our mission for ALL. It reflects our belief in focusing on what we can control instead of on student deficits or barriers. I have some good takeaways and new resources I hope to share in future PD!

Shout out to our Weekly Warrior, Melissa Wilson, who received the sword from Aaron Alderman!🤺

Kudos to Coach Collins and Coach Villines, who ended another football season last week! I had a parent in the stands at a recent game, who has put two kids through our football program, tell me how amazing they are in working with our kids. 🏈

Thanks to everyone who helped make the public art project event at the library a success last week! They counted around 128 guests! 🎨
