Dear Husky Family,

I hope you are enjoying the start of summer. As we come to the end of another successful school year, I wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your incredible support and dedication.

Our students have shown tremendous growth and perseverance throughout the year, and it is all thanks to your unwavering support and commitment to their education. Together, we have created a nurturing and empowering environment for our Huskies to thrive.

As we head into the summer break, I encourage you to continue taking time to support your child in reading, writing, and math activities. By keeping their minds sharp, we can ensure they are setting themselves up for future success.

Thank you once again for being a part of our incredible Husky Family.

MICHIGAN DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION:

This year MDE is introducing something new for districts. We recognize some districts and intermediate school districts have an established process to award local teachers of the year. If so, representatives of districts may email teacher nominations directly to MTOY@Michigan.gov. Please include teacher name, personal identification code (PIC), email address, and school employed. An email verifying receipt will be sent within 48 hours. Nominations from districts will be accepted now until September 25, 2024.

More information is available on the Michigan Teacher of the Year webpage. Please contact the Office of Educator Excellence at MTOY@Michigan.gov with any questions regarding the program or nomination process. We sincerely thank you for helping to share this information with your district.

Things to Remember:

Report Cards were mailed out this week and you should receive them by the end of the week!
Students who complete the summer workbook and turn it in the first week of school will be rewarded. We sent these home with your child at the last week of school.
We are also attaching our supplies list for the 24-25 school year! Grade level Supply List
