Your KNHS Counselors send out weekly emails with a variety of amazing opportunities for students! Encourage your child to look at those in case one would be a great fit for them!

While your child is in Middle School and High School, it is imperative to take an active role in your child's academic success. This app will allow you access to your child's gradebooks, attendance, lunch balance, and more!

6th Grade Families - Your child is just now learning about letter grades and while this is a new concept to them, it is VITAL for you to help them stay on top of their work! Our Academic Skills class will also be going over this new-to-them grading system, as well!

Watch for those Missing Assignments & help your child learn to turn work in on time!

Both KNMS & KNHS utilize Google Classroom for all courses! This is where digital assignments are given & sometimes graded!

Families will receive invitation links from teachers to join as a Google Classroom Guardian. You can also email your child's teachers for an additional link if you did not receive one.

Important things to consider:

• NOT ALL assignments will be given via Google Classroom as most teachers still give paper assignments or non-digital projects; ALL assignments will be listed in Infinite Campus though.
• NOT ALL assignments in Google Classroom will show the grade they received. Oftentimes, teachers give students the option of how they would like to complete an assignment (i.e. paper vs. laptop)
• Google Classroom is VITAL to AMI days. Every student is required to complete the tasks given to them in Google Classroom for each course on days we are doing AMI. These count towards their grade and attendance.
• Google Classroom is a great resource for students when they are absent!
• Google Classroom is a great resource when helping your child at home with an assignment!
