Breaking News: Taking Attendance for Remote Learning and Blended Learning
It's Crucial that Teachers take Attendance for every period/section bell.
- Please review the (Update - Attendance During Blended Learning) in regards to attendance recording. Discard previous copies.
Attendance Patterns:
Ensure all Students have the correct Local Attendance Pattern on the FD tab.
Each High School has a unique Senior attendance pattern. Check that your Seniors have the correct Local Attendance Pattern on the FD tab.
If a student transfers to you, be sure to check their Local Attendance Pattern on the FD tab
For questions, please reach out to EMIS - emis@cps-k12.org
For EMIS Use - Ohio. If their previous attendance pattern was different than yours, you will need to create an FD history in addition to the new history on the FS tab. If the attendance pattern is not different from the sending school, DO NOT create a history.
FAQ: Attention High School Specialists - Fiscal year student began 9th grade
- For all students entering ninth grade for the first time this school year, the following field on the FN tab must be updated to show 2021. If there are any Students without the accurate year represented please contact EMIS - emis@cps-k12.org
- This field is what sets the graduation cohort year for the student and it is imperative that it is accurately reported this fiscal year.
