Going forward it is the goal of the LOHS Parent Group to be able to do something special once a month to show our appreciation for LOHS Staff. If you would like to donate or contribute to future appreciation ideas (like the Orange/Halloween theme this month), please use the QR codes below.

Thank you for your cooperation in keeping the line moving safely and efficiently for all families.
- LOHS drop off and pick up entrance for students is from SCRIPPS RD only.
- Please pull forward in the student drop-off loop as far as you can before having your student exit/enter the vehicle.
- DO NOT use the Staff Lot or Bus Loop for picking up or dropping off students.
- Students are NO longer allowed to park in the lower pool lot.
Food Service Update
Message Sent from Superintendent
We are pleased to share some great news for our Dragon community. With the recent passage of the State of Michigan’s budget, Lake Orion Community Schools will once again offer free breakfast and lunch to all students for the current school year.
This means that every student, regardless of household income, will have access to nutritious meals each school day at no cost.
Breakfast and lunch will continue to meet state and federal nutrition guidelines and will be served in all school cafeterias.
Families do not need to complete any additional forms to receive free meals.
We are grateful that our state legislators came to an agreement to support Michigan students and families. Providing every child access to healthy meals ensures they are ready to learn and thrive each day.
If you have any questions, please contact the Lake Orion Community Schools Food Service Department at 248-814-0201 or visit LakeOrionSchools.org/FoodService for menus and additional details.
Thank you for your continued support of Lake Orion Community Schools. Together, we are Empowering the Dragon community to achieve excellence.
Thank you,
Heidi Mercer
