Science Students visit University of the Ozarks
Some of our Junior dragons had the opportunity to visit the University of the Ozarks. The college hosted their annual 'Science Day' where high school students were introduced to the science degree programs the school offers. Students participated in activities for several degree plans such as chemistry, nursing, exercise science, environmental science, computer science, and sports psychology. It was a great day for learning and exploring opportunities after graduation for our Dragons.

COMMUNITY SERVICE INFORMATION
75 Hours of Community Service is a Graduation Requirement
Community Service Hours – An Important Graduation Requirement
Mountainburg High School students and parents, we want to remind everyone of an important graduation requirement!
Beginning with the Class of 2027, students are required to complete 75 hours of community service in order to graduate, as established by the Arkansas LEARNS Act of 2023.
Students must log their completed hours in MobileServe. Simply participating in a service activity is not enough—the hours must also be properly documented.
We especially want to encourage our seniors in the Class of 2027 to take this requirement seriously. Graduation in May will be here before we know it, and we do not want community service hours to become an obstacle to receiving a diploma. Now is the time to check your hours, make a plan, and take advantage of opportunities to serve!
We appreciate the support of our Dragon families as we work together to prepare our students for success! If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Cristee, Mrs. Christian, or Coach Paige Jones.
75 HOURS. MAKE A DIFFERENCE. STAY ON TRACK FOR GRADUATION!
