Message from Principal Haroldson Message from Principal Haroldson

Dear SHS Families,

It has been a fantastic stretch here at school! There’s good energy in the hallways, and it’s wonderful to see our students so engaged in both their academics and our school community.

I want to extend a massive thank you to our Student Council for their hard work in organizing Spardi Gras! They’ve done an awesome job with the theme day organization and we look forward to the end of the week activities they have planned. This work has added positively to our school climate!

I want to provide a quick update on our winter weather protocol. As of this week, we have officially used our two allotted snow days. To ensure we meet our required instructional hours without extending the school year into the summer, please note the following:

  • Third Snow Day & Beyond: If we encounter another weather-related closure, we will transition to our At-Home Learning Plan. Specifics of that plan will be communicated out to you if we encounter another snow day.

We appreciate your flexibility and partnership in keeping the learning momentum going, regardless of what the forecast throws at us!

Sincerely,

Ryan Haroldson

SHS Principal
