If you need to call in your student's absence and our office staff are unable to take your call at that moment please leave us a message on our attendance line. You will be prompted to press one at that point it will move you to our in box where you can leave your student's name, grade level or teacher and reason for their absence. Your message will be used to update our attendance system.

• Reading Rock stars are students who have demonstrated an exceptional amount of grit in growing their reading stamina.

Jammin' JAGS are showing their JAGS expectations throughout our school community. These students have been nominated for showing, respect, kindness and safety!!! Congrats to our Jan. & Feb. Jammin' JAGS...thank you for helping our school community to be such a special place!!

This past Thursday Jefferson JAGS presented their Science Fair projects to some pristine judges, our own Dakota Meadows WEB leaders! It was quite impressive to see what ideas the students tested out through their research. We had 20 projects with 27 participants, who all worked very hard on their projects! We are so very proud of all of our participants and their hard work they put into their projects. We had 80% of our participants earn a regional qualifying score.

Our school store runs every first and third Friday of the month from 10:45-12:45. 5th Grade leaders help manage the store but we are always looking for adults to pair with them. If you would be interested please email me your availability. mbrues1@isd77.org

Our first graders had some special community visitors. Local Author, Laura Murray partnered with Capstone publishing company to publish a book titled, "The Kindness Booth". Students got a real treat when Laura read them the book and then community volunteers that included School Board Chair Sinning, United Way and former MAPS staff distributed a copy of the book to each student.

Please encourage your student to check the lost and found for any items.

Neon Night Thank you!

A sincere thank you to the parents and volunteers whose tireless efforts contributed to the success of Neon Night. We are also grateful to the families who attended, making the event truly special and memorable.

Conference Meals

Teacher conferences are coming up soon and PTO is supporting our teachers and staff by providing a meal for them on each conference night and needs your help with meals. Conferences are March 11, 14 and 19th. Let’s show our teachers and staff support by donating food or money for conferences.
