Monitoring Social Media and Cell Phone Use... Monitoring Social Media and Cell Phone Use...

We’ve noticed an increase in unkind behavior among students, often linked to social media and group chats on their cell phones. As part of our commitment to SOAR (Safety, Ownership, Acceptance, and Respect), we’re asking for your help.

👉 Monitoring your child’s phone activity and social media presence is more important than ever. With access to cell phones, students can be exposed to online dangers, risks, and negative influences beyond school. Together, we can guide them toward making positive and responsible choices.

Before the playground on the K Street campus is closed for construction on Feb. 23, we’ll meet up one last time for a school-wide playdate sponsored by the PTA. Come say goodbye to our playground equipment and run around with friends. When we return to our newly modernized school next year, we’ll have an entirely new playground, too!

Help Your Child Meet Their iReady Goals! Help Your Child Meet Their iReady Goals!

We’re working together to ensure students hit their weekly targets: at least 5 lessons in ELA and 5 lessons in Math per week (3 lessons each for Grades K-1).

Students have time during class, but additional practice at home is encouraged! Please use the provided iReady resources to help your child access lessons through Clever using their QR code (K-2) or credentials (3-5).
