Ready or Not...

I know, I know....it's still July...but it's Montgomery County Fair Week which means my brain is starting to think about school. I will be at the fair most days this week and hope to see some of you there! I miss your smiles!

Dr. White, our new Superintendent, is officially on the job. You may see him out and about around town or at the fair. Be sure to introduce yourself and welcome him to Wildcat country.

I wanted to remind you about registration on Wednesday, July 30th from noon-8:00. You should receive a packet in the mail with a little paperwork to turn in. Please drop it by on the 30th so we can ensure your student is registered and has what they need for the first day of school. If you have questions, please call Mrs. Chris at 833-662-6228 ext. 4103 and she will get back with you when she is in the office.

The first day of school is Tuesday, August 19th. Doors open at 7:30 am. Parents will be allowed to walk their student in on the first two days of school. More details about that will be available at Meet & Greet.

Our building theme this year is Growing Champions: Wildcats Set the Standard

I want to give a huge THANK YOU to our custodial and maintenance crews for all of their hard work this summer. Often what they do goes unnoticed, but it is so important. I appreciate the dedication each of them have shown to helping JBE become a great place to work and learn!

I hope you are well! We miss seeing you at JBE! Enjoy what is left of you summer!

Registration

JBE Families - We ONLY HAVE 32 students enrolled for the 25-26 school year. Please help us! WE NEED YOU to complete your online registration by the end of the day on July 13th. Help us find our missing students!

It is time to enroll your students for the 2025-2026 school year! Families returning to MCR2 must log into the Parent Portal and complete the registration update.

Families new to MCR2 should visit www.mc-wildcats.org and choose New Student Enrollment.

Construction is Underway

The original end of JBE is getting a face lift this summer. It will require a lot of work from our educators right before school because the timeline is tight. We may even need a few volunteers to help us get moved back in and settled. But the wait will be worth it. As you can see below the roof is coming along. The abatement is done. Now we wait for drop ceilings, dimmable lights, new cabinets, new tile, and fresh paint. Exciting things are happening at JBE while you are enjoying your summer!

Special shoutout to Mrs. Janet for working around the crews and to Mr. Ned for managing the project and keeping it on track!

Registration Packet

You should be receiving a registration packet in the mail soon. It is the hard copies we need for emergencies, federal programs, etc. PLEASE help us by turning this in prior to Meet and Greet, preferably on July 30th. It helps the office ensure we have the information we need to serve your students needs.

Teacher Meet & Greet

***Please keep in mind that due to construction, we may have to be flexible with our format. As of now, these are our plans, but they are subject to change - not the date or time, but possibly the location of meeting your teacher meaning we may use the gym, cafeteria, unused classrooms, etc. if the intermediate rooms are not ready for visitors yet due to construction.***

Make plans to join us for Teacher Meet & Greet on August 14th. If the time that coordinates with your name does not work, please call the office and let us know which time does.

This is an open house format. You can stop in meet your teacher, drop off supplies and visit the gym.

Make plans to stop by the gym. PTO will have information there, Love Out Loud will be here with bounce houses, several community resources will have tables set up.
