Principal's Corner
Hello FamiLEE,
We have Homecoming coming up this week and hope to see everyone come out to the game on Friday at Milton Frank Stadium.
Our goal is to grow five more points on our state report card. We have to work together to achieve this goal. Students need to be in attendance daily. Additionally, we are working hard to deliver instruction that will make our students retain important information and be successful on the ACT. Our goal is to see all of our students grow in all areas.
Just a reminder to make sure your child is following the dress code and school expectations.
The new attendance email address is LHS.ATTENDANCE@HSV-K12.ORG. Please send excuses to this email address. Thanks!
Have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
Kitrise Torain
LHS Principal

Shout-Outs
- Shout-out to our Freshmen of the Week from last week! Abby Hurst comes to us from AAA Middle. Here at Lee she is in the visual arts magnet, is on the swim team, and wants to try out for tennis. In her spare time she likes to play video games, draw, and play tennis. When she graduates from high school she would like to go to college and possibly major in art. Her favorite teacher at Lee is Ms. Jiang because she is positive and happy and is an upbeat person. Parker Latham comes to us from Chapman Middle. He is on the football team here at Lee and is interested in playing both basketball and wrestling. In his spare time he likes to workout, watch sports, play video games, cook, and enjoy time with his family. When he graduates from high school he would like to go to college to become an engineer or an author. He said his favorite teacher at Lee is all of his current teachers. He cannot make a choice because they are all great! Congratulations to both of them for representing our FamiLEE values so well!
- Thanks to our JROTC and Choir for having September 11th memorial Wednesday morning to pay respect to those who lost their lives in 2001.
- Shout-out to Lee High School Senior Ianna Ferguson! She has received a FULL RIDE scholarship to Tuskegee University!!! Way to go, Ianna!!!
- Shout-out to our Student Section that came out to support the FamiLEE at Friday's football game! Their energy and enthusiasm was unmatched and they did a great job supporting our school!
- Shout-out to the Lee High Swim Team! They did a great job at their meet this morning!
