Academy Announcements
Dear Academy Families and Friends,
It's hard to believe that term 2 is behind us and we're entering the third and final trimester of the year. There will be a lot of events and activities so please be sure to read the weekly newsletters carefully as well as save the dates for upcoming events!
- Grade 3 has MCAS on Wednesday and Thursday. 3rd grade parents, please help them by making sure their devices are charged/updated as well as power up your child with a good hearty breakfast on the morning of each test session. Also a reasonable bedtime the night before will help too!
- Due to MCAS exams, lunch times and schedules may be different for certain grades due to the testing window.
- Chromebooks are important tools. Be sure send them into school daily. Also remember to update them regularly. Go to settings>>click on about chrome os>> click check for updates.
- Panda Day is Friday. Get your black and white outfits ready for Friday!
- 3 on 3 Basketball is this week. Please make sure to check in on time and be ready to play. We've got a great night of basketball planned for the 27th. Don't forget there are awards for best team costumes too!
- Special thank you to Ms. Bonnie! The best Crossing Guard bar none!
- This past week, the staff had a little bit of fun with an Underground Spirit Week. The kids got a kick trying to figure out the theme for each day!
- Also did you know that WPS has a Grandparents Raising Grandchildren support group. Click here for more information!
- The Media Club did it again-check out the latest production from this great team of 5th grade students.
