Message from Mr. Tejkl
“Don't be a tomorrow individual"
Good morning!
Welcome to the 2nd quarter! We are flying right along and heading into the final stretch of the first semester! What can we continue to do to be our best? Be on time, be respectful, be accountable and be consistent. It starts and ends with us!
Quote of the week: "What is not started today is never finished tomorrow." I've had a few people ask me where I get these quotes. From the internet of course ;) but in all reality, it is based off of what I am feeling or what I am hearing what others are going through. Today's quote is based off of heading into the 2nd quarter and what goals we want to accomplish.
For me, it is easy to look at laundry in the dryer and say, "I'll will get it later or tomorrow..." Tomorrow comes and then I am hopeful my wife took care of it (sorry dear). But in that lies the problem. Instead of getting a task done right away, there is an excuse that can be found to delay it. There are times where the day gets filled up and we then have to wait until tomorrow but don't fill your today with excuses on why you can't get items done. Some times, it is easier to knock it out without even thinking about it.
Don't delay and have tasks slip away or be done with half-effort to just say it is done. As we enter the second semester as students, staff, parents and community members; let's find our right mindset and be ready to accomplish anything life throws at us! Yes, honey, I will make sure that laundry is done as well :).
Have a great Sunday and let's have a great week!
Quote of the week to make you think:
"What is not started today is never finished tomorrow."
