News from Principal Lamothe
π Hello PRS Wizards π
The Hingham Land Conservation Trust (HLCT), in partnership with Hingham High School student and Girl Scout Gold Award Candidate, Sam Downes, is excited to introduce Hingham Trail Passport Books for local students and families. These free passports encourage children to explore nearby conservation trails, including Whortleberry Hollow, Jacobs Meadow, and Eel River Woods, while completing fun activities and earning stickers along the way.
The goal of the program is to help students and families connect with nature, learn about local wildlife, and discover some of Hinghamβs lesser-known outdoor spaces. Passport books are available in the school office, please feel free to come by and pick one up and start exploring, just in time for spring!
Families can also follow HLCT on Instagram @hinghamlandtrust for trail highlights, conservation updates, and ideas for getting outside.

PRS is Here to Help
We understand that making ends meet can be difficult for some families in our HPS community. Therefore, we want to let you know that there are individuals in each of our schools who are ready to provide information and assistance. Resources may be available to help families in times of financial need or other challenging situations. Our particular area of outreach is for food support for the upcoming holidays. Please donβt hesitate to contact an administrator, the school nurse, or counseling personnel at your child's school if you are in need of food support for the holidays. Rest assured that your request will be managed in a way that respects your rights to confidentiality.
