What is Agricultural Education?
Agricultural Education is comprised of three components (the three circle model)
Classroom and laboratory instruction that is contextual, inquiry-based and interactive.
FFA, which helps members develop premier leadership, personal growth and career success.
Supervised agricultural experience (SAE) programs that allow you to apply knowledge and skills through experiential, service and work-based learning opportunities.
Membership: All students enrolled in an Agricultural Education course are automatically paid members of the National FFA Organization. Valley Heights FFA is an affiliated membership, meaning, the membership dues of all students enrolled in an ag class are paid by the chapter. Student participation is expected, but ultimately the level of activeness in the organization is determined by the student. Members NOT enrolled in an ag course are expected to pay $15 by the due date to be a member of the National FFA organization.
