What an incredible couple of weeks for BAS! We are so proud of our Junior High Boys and Girls Basketball teams for their Championship wins at Bobcat Classic 2026! Their hard work, discipline, and never-give-up attitude truly paid off. A special congratulations to our JH Girls team for receiving the Spirit of Excellence Award—a reflection not only of athletic ability, but of character, leadership, and sportsmanship. Watching our students lead from the front at church and represent BAS with integrity made us especially proud.

We are also celebrating the outstanding job our students did at the Texas Conference Junior High Music Festival. They sounded absolutely beautiful and represented our school with confidence and excellence. It is such a joy to see our students using their gifts to honor God.

This week we kick off Elementary Flag Football, begin preparing for Mind Games on March 4th, and continue strong academic work in the classroom. There is so much happening at BAS, and we are grateful for students who continue to give their best in every area.

This year’s theme shirt is beautiful, and we would love for every student to have one! Spirit wear can be worn on Fridays and is also great for field trips and school events.

Resilience is built when students learn to face challenges with courage and persistence. Whether it’s a tough test, a missed shot, a forgotten assignment, or a disagreement with a friend, these moments are opportunities for growth. When we allow students to work through small struggles, they develop confidence and problem-solving skills that will serve them for life.

Thank you for encouraging your child to keep trying, learn from mistakes, and trust that growth takes time. Together, we can help our students build strength not just academically, but in character and faith as well.

We are working on this year’s yearbook and need your help! If you have photos from events like Fall Fest, basketball games, or other sports action shots, please send them in as soon as possible. The more candid and action photos we receive, the better our yearbook will be!
