Good afternoon and Welcome Back!

It's always a wonderful day when our Red Oak Raiders are in the building and today was no exception! We had a very successful day of reviewing our Red Oak RISE expectations, learning and growing together.

Please mark your calendars for our Red Oak Fall Festival coming this month on Thursday, October 29th. We will have trick or treating, inflatables, math games, and food for purchase. We can't wait to see you there!

Red Oak Parents — We Need YOU!

Do you want to be more involved in your child’s school and help create fun, memorable experiences for our students and staff? The Red Oak PTO is looking for volunteers who have a passion for supporting our school community!

Whether you can help plan events, assist behind the scenes, or lend a hand at school activities, every bit of help makes a difference. Plus, it’s a great way to meet other parents and be part of something special for our kids.

You don’t have to have a lot of time — just a willingness to help!

If you’d like to get involved or learn more about volunteering! We’d love to have you on the team!

Please be sure to follow all of our rules for our Morning Arrival to ensure the safety of our staff and students!!

1. ALL students must be dropped off in car line and may only enter the building starting at 7:40 AM.

2. You MAY NOT drop students off in the parking lot (unless arranged with Red Oak staff)

3. Students MAY NOT walk across the bus loop from EJMS (unless you are EJMS staff)

4. You MAY NOT park in the handicap spots if you do not have a handicap tag

We want to share an important update to our attendance policy, effective this school year. Regular school attendance is essential for student success, and we appreciate your partnership in making it a priority!

Parents/Guardians: Please note the NEW form for EHO! This is for Educational Enhancement Opportunity applications. We will only accept application using this new form. These need to be turned in at least 5 days before the absence. Thank you!

All students will be placed on the appropriate transportation that is reflected in Infinite Campus. If you need to make a transportation change, please call Ms. Alisha in our office by 2:00. We need to have time to notify the teachers.

Our MyRide K-12 app is up and working! Please know that our transportation department is working through glitches associated with the app. If you have any questions at all concerning your child while they are on the bus, please call our office! If you have any questions concerning the MyRide K-12 app, please call the Transportation Office at 859-885-4891 or the online site .

Families can use their Parent Portal to pay for field trips, classroom fees, and to put money in student cafeteria accounts. There are no fees associated with online payments through the Parent Portal. Online payments are optional; students may still bring in cash or a check. All RED students will receive breakfast and lunch at no cost, regardless of household size or income during the 2026-2027 school year. Families may choose to put money in a student’s cafeteria account to allow the student to purchase extra food/drink. Online payments are STRONGLY encouraged.

The 26-27 School Fees have been added to Infinite Campus as well as any outstanding fees associated with Chromebook damages from last year. Please login to IC Parent Portal to pay these fees. Our fees this year are $25.
