Dear Cole Manor Elementary School Families,
I would like to begin this month's newsletter with a message for all families that your students are our number one priority. All students are valued, welcome and safe at Cole Manor. We are excited to continue into the second part of the school year with many activities, projects and events and we hope you can join us!
We are excited to share several upcoming events that will make this time of year special for our students, families, and community. First, we will be celebrating Valentine's Day with classroom parties in each homeroom (2/13/25). These celebrations will give students a chance to share kindness with one another, and we encourage students to bring in Valentines for their classmates as part of the festivities.
In addition to our Valentine’s celebrations, we are also thrilled to offer continued parent workshops throughout the month. Please see the link within this newsletter for more detailed information. These workshops will cover important topics such as social media presented by our counselor Mrs. Martin.
February is Black History Month, and we are proud to celebrate the many contributions of Black Americans to our nation's history and culture. Throughout the month, students will participate in activities that highlight the achievements of black leaders in various fields, from the arts to civil rights and beyond. We hope to inspire our students with stories of perseverance, strength, and excellence, and look forward to sharing these important lessons with everyone.
