Teacher Shouts Outs
Parents - periodically we share comments we have received about our teachers. It shows your appreciation for them efforts and also allows those teachers to receive feedback. Thanks for your contributions.
We have had seveal kids go through Harmony, "We could brag on all of the staff but are always hearing about these three and how they are loved."
Mrs. Hendrickson - She has motivated and been such a positive teacher for (our child). She is engaging and makes sure at all times that her lessons are understood. She brings an enjoyment to her classroom where her students want to learn and participate in her class. She encourages them to do their best and has always told them that mistakes are ok; you just keep going.
Mr. Caccavo - He has brought nothing but the love of Science for (our child). He makes his class fun and enjoying. He has an open door policy if you don’t get something, you can come and talk with him and he will explain and help. He encourages and motivates each student that walks in his class. He goes out of his way to keep parents informed and makes sure his students always do their best.
Ms. Washington- Not only is she amazing at what she does but, both our (children) have her and love chorus and all they are learning. They come home singing all the time. She not only teaches them the proper ways to carry a note but also the meaning and love behind the music she is teaching. She shares her passion and it shows through her students."

Coding On The Move
Students in Mr. Beytullah Arikan's Coding class worked on their Snowball Challenge.
In it, students had to clear snowballs (cotton balls) from a designated floor area within a certain amount of time (one minute) with a car / truck they designed and built. This was all done through programming and coding.
Everyone was excited to use the grabber arms, navigation strategies, and their problem solving skills. Check out the pictures!
