The Protos Perfect Attendance Contest Begins Monday, September 8th!
Protos, the house of success, is hosting our first house challenge of the school year, a PERFECT ATTENDANCE challenge! There are two parts to the competition, which will take place Monday, September 8th through Tuesday, September 30th.
House Attendance Contest: The houses will compete against each other for attendance bragging rights. The houses with the highest percentage of students with perfect attendance within the dates of the contest will earn house points, with 1st place earning 25 points, 2nd place earning 15 points, and 3rd place earning 5 points.
Individual Attendance Raffle: Any student (from any house) with perfect attendance during the dates of the contest will be entered into a raffle. Five students will be chosen at random to receive a house swag bag! Each student with perfect attendance will also earn a house point to contribute to their houses' total. To qualify, students must be present all day each day of the contest with no tardies, absences, check ins or check outs.
Attendance counts, all day everyday!

Family Support for School Intruder Drills
As you all know, we have several different types of safety drills that we practice at school. We do everything we can on our end to ensure that students are prepared and do not feel afraid. This book was shared with us and we wanted to share it with you! It is a really helpful and child friendly way of sharing a tough and scary topic with our children.
We practiced our lockdown drill this morning and our students were amazing!
