Message from Mr. Beierman
Dear Twin Bluff Middle School Families,
Welcome to another exciting school year at Twin Bluff Middle School! Whether you are returning or joining us for the first time, we are thrilled to have you as part of the TBMS family. We’re looking forward to a year filled with growth, connection, and learning.
At TBMS, we believe strong relationships are the foundation for student success. Our dedicated staff is committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where every student is challenged to reach their full potential—academically, socially, and emotionally.
This year, we will continue building on our Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework. This approach helps guide students in understanding and living out our shared expectations, creating a safe and respectful environment for everyone. Through PBIS, students learn positive ways to engage with peers, staff, and the world around them.
Our core values—Be Safe, Be Kind, Be Responsible—are at the heart of everything we do. We encourage you to review these expectations with your child, which are printed on the back of this letter. When school and families work together, our students thrive!
We’re kicking off the year with a Welcome Back Open House for Grades 5, 6, and 7 on Tuesday, August 26th, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This is a great opportunity to meet teachers, explore classrooms, try out locker combinations, and get familiar with the school. We hope you’ll join us to help start the year off on a positive note!
The first day of school is Tuesday, September 2nd, and we can’t wait to see all our students back on campus. Here are a few reminders:
School doors open at 8:35 AM (8:30 am if going to breakfast in the cafeteria)
Classes run from 8:45 AM to 3:40 PM
Parent drop-off: 8:35–8:45 AM
Parent pick-up: 3:40–3:50 PM
Please keep student safety in mind during drop-off and pick-up times—your cooperation helps make our school a safe place for everyone. For more details, please refer to the 2025-26 TBMS Expectations and Procedures document.
Twin Bluff is a busy, energetic, and welcoming place—full of Winger Pride—and we’re so glad you’re part of it. On behalf of the entire TBMS TEAM, thank you for partnering with us in making this a fantastic school year.
Welcome back! Let’s make 2025–26 our best year yet!
Sincerely,
Patrick Beierman, Principal

Attendance & Student Pickup Reminders
Please use the attendance line at 651-385-4550 when you need to report an absence, a student is coming in late or needs to be picked up early. You can also email tbmsattendance@rwps.org. Please keep in mind that students may be outside with PE, in band, or at recess so the earlier the notification the better for us to make that happen in a timely manner. If you know you will be picking your child up early or would like us to get a message to them, morning is the best time to let us know. Thank you for your cooperation!
Also, as a reminder, we do not have supervision for students until doors open at 8:35 (8:30 if they are eating breakfast.) Please keep this in mind if they are coming early.
Reminders From School Nurse
Any student that will be taking prescription medications at school will need an Authorization to Administer Medication form signed by a parent and a provider. Medication is required to be in the original container with the most recent prescription label. Medical Conditions such as Asthma, Seizures, Diabetes, Etc will need an action plan from the student's provider as well.
All 7th graders need to have a TDAP booster and a Meningococcal immunization or a Conscientious Objection on file in the Health Office. Please bring paperwork to the school nurse before the first day of school. If you need a Conscientious Objection notarized, please contact the school nurse to arrange an appointment to have that notarized.
The Health Office always accepts donations such as period products and deodorant. We are also in need of t-shirts, pants, underwear and socks for both boys and girls in all sizes. Thank you
Students are responsible for loss and damage to their Chromebook, so families must pay for cracked or broken screens, spills, broken keys and more. There is a protection play to help with that, but enrollment is required by Sept. 30. The annual cost is $15 for one device and $30 for two of more devices. Enroll by clicking the button below.
Events/Activities
Middle school students attending activities and events must be accompanied by an adult. The same behavior that is expected during the school day is also expected at events. Please remember to be Safe, Kind, and Responsible as you show your Winger Pride!
Bus lanes, parking, & SAFETY!
No parking or drop off during busing times!
We have new signs that are now in place reminding all drivers that the bus loop is ONLY for buses each morning during drop off's (8:15 - 9:15 am) and each afternoon during pick up's (3:15 - 4:15 pm).
New signs at the bus loop entrance reminds drivers that this is a "One Way" and only bus traffic each morning and afternoon as well.
Please help us keep students safe by following the expectations.
